Tarka Line

The Tarka Line is now a branch line from Exeter to Barnstaple serving the local villages along the way. It's not expensive to travel on and a trip up and down the line takes about 2 hours. We take a bit longer, but the idea is to make at least two stops on the way up and two stops on the way down, visiting pubs along the way, starting in Exeter and with a few turnaround stops in Barnstaple, finishing up with last orders in Exeter, and having a lot to eat on the way as well. Occasionally we ask for and get Christmas Pudding, but more of that elsewhere.

Below are just a few pictures of a few members on the day out, together with a few itineraries.
